Pitcher height 11inches, circumference 27 inches, bowl width14 3/4 5 inches height 5 1/2 inches. Material ceramics. Bowl base has an impressed Wedgwood along with the diamond registration mark. Pitcher base has the diamond registration mark plus /222 in gold
I bought it as a pair at auction in Thames NewZealand, about 30 years ago,I am not certain what I paid, it could be around NZ$500. I beleive the objects came fro a farm in the aera

Thank you for submitting photographs of your Wedgwood pitcher and bowl for appraisal at Mearto.
This is a very nice washbowl and pitcher set. According to the diamond mark underneath, this was made in 1878 and appears to be in very good condition, with a few minor chips etc that are more a consequence of age and use than damage.
These were part of the same set and really should stay together; though the market for late 19th century Wedgwood has dipped in recent years, they will retain their value more if kept together.
