Know that it has been in storage for 40+ years but have no idea how old. Has hole in back of head. Like no creature I have seen. Hollow and rounded on the bottom.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and thank you for the photos.
This statue seems to be based in style to SW-SE asian and pacific cosmological creatures, but without any documents, proof of origins it is impossible to be certain about this or about the chronology as there are wonderful reproductions.

This unusual clay animal pot is 7” x 5”. I will enclose additional photos.
Hard to realize that things we have been holding onto has no value but that is reality and I thank Mearto for being there to convey that reality. Larry
