What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by William Joseph VERDULT (1939), titled "Barabus" ( possibly Barabbas), referring to the bible / the movie from 1961 featuring Anthony Quinn, with a dedication to Rocky Dagestino, in a gilt gesso frame. The dutch / american artist William Verdult is known for his diversive style, ranging from classic portrait to pop art. A number of astronomically high pre-auction estimates have been recorded. The estimate is based on items actually sold at auction. A true admirer of Lionel Richie might be willing to pay much more than the high estimate.
