I am not sure, I think it may be made from fiberglass?? or some sort of heavy plastic. It weighs 31 lbs. Measures appro 4 ft tall by 19" wide. In good structural condition, as far as, it can handle a heavy persons weight and sit very solid. Although it has some cracks in the frame, it does not affect it's integrity. It it signed by the front floor base area. Appears to read Alt lus or Altlus. But I can't find anything with that name anywhere. It came from an estate in Naples Florida.
Naples Florida estate
Dear Holli,
Thank you for your request and your patience. The apprised object is a bust of a woman with a colorful bird on her left shoulder and with the measurement of 4 ft tall and 19 inches wide. The bust is highly probably made out of cast resin. Under the bottom is the #29 noted with a felt-tipped pen. This is probably the edition number and this is the 29th piece. The figurine is signed with a difficult readable name. Most possible is "Alt Luc" or "Alt Lus". Sadly no artist with such a name is mentioned in auction record lists or similar databases.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
