The R.E. LaMague Corporation specialized in colonial reproduction furniture, particularly Windsor chairs, rockers, and other classic early American forms. They were known for using traditional craftsmanship methods, such as hand-turning and hand-finishing, and often used maple and cherry woods. Though I can't find any information on when the company was founded, it was active primarily in the mid-20th century and company emphasized heirloom-quality American-made furniture.
This chair is a reproduction of a Shaker style side chair and has a fair market value of $100-125, at auction

With tall chamfered stiles flanking four ladders over a shaped seat, raised on turned legs joined by a double box stretcher. Labeled underneath the seat.
Overall height: 41-1/2 inches; width: 20 inches; depth: 17-1/2 inches
