What does this mean?

Dear Dan,

You have a Camphor wood chest made fist half 20th century in China. These chest are also used as coffee tables ( sometimes with a glass plate on it ). These chest are hand carved and made for export to the west. They were quite popular in first half 20th century and therefor they were made in China ( and also in Japan ) in that time frame for the western market. I believe if you want to buy one the market price would be around the estimate.
