Wooden Lion Chair
It is made of wood, there is 0 writing or markings underneath. The back has two lions with their mouths open, with an oval jewel shape between them. The two front feet have what appears to be claws over a sphere like shape. The chair is 3 feet tall. Roughly 16 inches wide or so.
Background: It was my great grandmother's chair, she acquired it during the Great Depression, my great grandfather was a butcher and she was a teacher. To help their neighbors, they purchased furniture from them. This was in Long Island.

The kidney-shaped back with vigorously carved and pierced crest centering two lions rampant, the ovoid shaped seat raised on tall cabriole legs ending in paw front feet.
36 inches tall, approximately 16 inches wide
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use
