Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Victorian carved walnut balloon seat armchair
American, late 19th Century
The rounded back with arched foliate carved crest over demi-upholstered and molded arms flanking oval tufted upholstered back, shaped seat with serpentine rail centering carved element, on short cabriole legs.

CONDITION: not examined in person, Client advises this has a broken rear leg that can be fixed but otherwise is in good condition.
