I bought this item through a private dealer. It is heavy iron with a pattern depicting a faux leather texture. It has a reddish brown hue and looks very aged but great condition. I am wondering if it could be a Jacques Adnet piece as it in his style and I am not sure if there are even replicas.

This easel employs the technique of Ferblanterie is a French term referring to tinsmithing or the craft of working with metals to create various objects. It was probably made in France in the mid 20th Century. While I've seen some pieces with these leather-like straps attributed to Jacques Adnet, I don't think this is one of his designs.
A few online retailers are asking a few thousand US dollars for slightly comparable easels but those are high retail prices; comparable examples that have sold at auction recently have brought sold for between $800-1,200.

The collapsible tripod frame with two loops at the top and belt-like brace flanked by two loop-form arms, on three loop-form feet. Apparently unmarked.
