This gun was handed down to me when my grandfather died. As far as I know it is a flintlock musket gun which is over 100 years old but that's all the information I know. The gun has had a locking mechanism fitted so it can't be currently fired (being an ornamental item) Also included with the musket was a side piece possibly used for storing firing powder? Again i am not sure as it was handed down to me from my grandfather
