Given to me by my Grandfather Ulysses Holmes. It has a crimped scabbard which I've heard was done to prevent the sword from rattling. There is a lot of 3d material stuck to it, and I've always wondered if it's blood. The blade has impact cuts as if it was actually used in a fight. It has never been sanded or cleaned. It's still sharper than anything I own and appears to be wicked good steel.
