18", wooden jointed body - intact; bisque head - had open/shut eyes but apparently they have fallen back into the head; human hair; original clothing, shoes/socks; straw hat (slightly damaged).
Unknown - it was my mother's but she never told me much about it.
Dear Gina,
Thank you for your help and your patience.
The presented object appears to be a German Armand Marseille 390 bisque head doll with sleeping eyes, a jointed wooden body, and a height of 18 inches. The hair was made out of human hair and the dress and hat appear to be original. The shoes are probably a later addition because of the condition of the surface.
This piece is in medium condition and the sleeping eye mechanism, the dress is stained, and the straw hat is damaged which visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 60 to 120 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
