What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a Luger P08 chambered in 9mm Luger. It was made in 1912 in the Erfurt arsenal in their second year of manufacturing. The piece is in good and stable condition, showing edge-wear and patina consistent with its age. The majority of the straw-finish and flame blue is worn off. There is no active rust present, and the pistol appears to be mechanically sound. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 1,500-1,600 dollars. Please reach out with any questions.
