1920s Tea Cart by Paalman Furniture Co.
This tea cart is made of a dark wood. Not certain on specifics. The dimensions are about 30Lx15Wx30H. There is a lifting glass tray, but no drop-leafs. There is a circular red sticker on the bottom of the cart that says “No. 80 Paalman Furniture Co.”
This was my grandmothers. It was then passed down to my mother (her daughter). I've now inherited it. It is not currently being used. I'm not certain if it was ever used as an actual tea cart.

This is an antique, early 20th century tea wagon, or tea cart that was produced in Grand Rapids, Michigan by the Paalman Furniture Company. The business was founded John H. Paalman in 1916 and was active until 1966. Prior to founding his own company, Paalman was employed as a manager and designer at Stickley. Your teacart would date to the earliest periods of the company. It is made with quarter-sawn oak which was a design mainstay at Stickley for their Arts & Crafts Period, Mission era styled furniture. Paalman Company soon became one of the best known makers for teacarts. Currently, vintage and antique teacarts are most popularly marketed and purchased as barcarts as a cocktail center for small home and apartment dwellers. This interest has helped buoy the current sale market interest in these. The estimate is based on actual recent recorded auction sales of comparables.
