Has triple signatures. One on the left cheek and two backwords on top of each other on right cheek. 16-18 inches tall, normal-sized. Not 100% condinent on the year, just found that black signature are from 1983-1984.
Got it from a estate sale, so unknown history.
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a cute Cabbage patch doll. Such vintage toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
You Cabbage doll appears to be in good condition without many signs of use and wear. Because the doll has no yearmark in the signature it is one of the earlier dolls - that is made between 1978-1982. However mass produced dolls rarely have value beyond their purchase price even when kept in excellent shape. Normally these Cabbage patch kid dolls were produced in lots of 1000 and upwards.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Cabbage patch kid doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
I heard those were extremely rare from collectors' posts online as well.
Hello?
Thank you for your comment. The second signature looks as if it has been rubbed off and mirrored on the other cheek. When there is more than one signature they usually differ. However I would suggest that you have the doll appraised in real life as this is not something that can be determined by the photos that you have sent.
Please write again if you have any further questions.
Kind regards.
Hello. Is this the value with the triple signatures? I have another cabbage patch that only has one signature.
