The box is in amazing condition and has zero damage to the exterior or interior. It truly looks almost brand new. There are no maker marks that I’ve seen on the bottom or inside the lid.

Hi Austin,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
While most Shaker communities made these iconic oval bentwood boxes, only five communities (Mount Lebanon, Canterbury, Sabbathday Lake, Alfred, and Union Village) were made for commercial sales to "the outside world". Ones with paint bring more money than those "in their natural wood" color.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique Shaker bentwood lidded oval pantry box
New England (Mount Lebanon, Canterbury, Sabbathday Lake, Alfred, and Union Village), late 19th Century
3 inches tall; 5-1/4 inches wide, 3-3/8 inches deep
CONDITION: This box appears to be in very good condition
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$75-125*

Thank you for sending additional photos, Austin, you're all set unless this has paint on it in which case it would be worth a bit more.
