Oil or kerosene glass Alladin style lamp 10” tall without glass shade Base is not hollow. Glass all the way across. Base is 41/2 inches across. The bad is base diagonal swirls. Glass portion on top of base has horizontal ladder lines around the bottom and top with diagonal swirls between. The brass top has a small cap that can be lifted to expose more of the cloth wick and holes for drawing air ( I assume). The base of the brass cap has the following markings: EAGLE, The small wheel to regulate height of cloth wick is an octagonal shape and bears the following markings: P &A, Thomason,, Dorset. DIV.
