I am submitting for appraisal my Conn CONNstellation 52BSP Bb trumpet, which is in excellent condition, both cosmetically and functionally. The instrument has been well-maintained stored climate controlled and shows minimal signs of wear. The silver-plated finish remains bright and uniform, with no significant scratches or pitting. There is currently some tarnish due to storage but can be easily removed with polish. All solder joints are intact and structurally sound. It is completely free of dents or dings inside and out. Mechanically, the trumpet performs flawlessly. The valves are smooth, responsive, and show no signs of corrosion or wear. They have been regularly cleaned and lubricated and move freely with excellent compression. The slides operate smoothly and seal properly. It plays excellent and the sound intonation is even across registers. Included with the instrument is the original deluxe case in very good condition and a Conn 3C mouthpiece with no notable wear.
