It looks to be an antique hutch. It’s 3 pieces. There is no engraving of any kind with no name or date.
I bought it from craigslist
This is an antique, 3rd quarter 19th century, Victorian era, primitive country-style, wooden step-back hutch with architectural style decorative top mount; possibly Pennsylvania and likely done in walnut or oak and pine. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
Please check for any maker stamps, labels or tags on the inside of this and also send a clear, in-focus image of a corner of a drawer to show the joinery.
I added 3 more pictures. I am not sure if this is a scribble or an actual signature or it looks to be initials. No date found.
Could the appraisel be greater than $2,000?
You can ask any price you please on any item you own, the key factor being finding a buyer at your pricepoint.
I just added 4 more pictures of the corner of the drawer, the back and inside of the drawer. I hope that helps.
Thank you for the additional images. The assessment does remain the same.
I can assess one picture only or a matched pair or set here. Please choose one and send images at your convenience.
