I don't know a whole lot about this, just that I got it from a friend 20 or so years ago when he moved back here from Europe. He was in the army and traveled all over and was and still is into antiques. It seems to be made of either ivory or bone. The sheath somewhat fragile being made in pieces like it is but the sword itself is solid. Trying to find some one near me that actually knows about this type of thing and am having a hard time.
