I got these from an estate sale and the story that was told to me was they were brought over before World War II to the United States.

A Japanese porcelain bowl set with a lid. Such bowls were used to serve soups, needles or other dishes. It is decorated with a kanji decor. This piece was made in the second half of the 20th century also for export to Western countries.
Pieces of this trademark by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
