Hello, I have a sword that I'm interested in selling or getting appraised. The sword was a gift from my best friend's ex-girlfriend after her grandfather passed away. He had been the Lithuanian ambassador to the United States and had a large collection of weapons and armor from around the world. When he died, no one in the family wanted to deal with the collection, so she gave me one of the pieces. I've done some of my own research and it most closely resembles a Turkish yataghan. The wear on it suggests it was definitely used, and I believe it was defiantly used. Maybe it's worth something? I don't know.
