Thank you for your appraisal submission. The work is a contemporary acrylic painting on canvas of a deep blue sky and cloud formations. It is signed illegibly to the side of the canvas, but the composition is significantly similar to works by Joelle Cathleen (American, 20th/21st century). However there are no documented signatures of this artist to match, and similar styles are made by other artists, leaving the attribution questionable. It is difficult to the discern the condition of the work from the singular image provided, but it appears to be in good condition with minor nicks to the edges of the canvas. Overall, the work measures 72 x 48 inches.

Without an artistic attribution, the Fair Market Value of this work is discerned from sales trends of stylistically similar works, general trends of contemporary art, and works similar in size. There are a significant amount of skyscape and cloud paintings on the market, although most of these don't reach as far towards abstraction as the subject work. Considering the aforementioned trends, we estimate the Fair Market Value of this work between $200 and $500.
