Matted and framed #88/300
Framed is 14 w 17 h
Hello, this item is an original hand-signed limited edition lithograph by Erté, properly titled “Ficelle,” not “Facelle,” dated 1976. The number 88/300 visible in the lower margin matches the published edition format for this work, which is recorded as a pencil-signed lithograph on paper from an edition of 300.
The print appears to be in good overall condition, matted and framed, with some light paper toning and age-related mat discoloration visible in the photos. Erté’s signed prints remain collectible, but this is one of his more minimal line-based compositions, so it generally carries less market demand than his larger, colorful Art Deco figural serigraphs. Assuming the signature and edition number are authentic on in-person inspection, I would value it as follows.
Fair Market Value: $400–$700 USD
