14" high Boy doll porcelin
Unknown. It was in a box of other items purchased at an auction in Terre Haute, IN about 15 years ago
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry and thank you for the additional information
It is a lovely doll. However after having examined the photos very carefully we have come to the conclusion that it is not an antique porcelain doll. But a very good and wellmade replica doll of the famous brand Albert Marque doll. Your doll is signed Stephanie Lynn which is the name of the doll maker who has made this replica doll.
During the late 1900s there were made several artist dolls by various dollmakers. These dolls have collector value however not as valuable as original antique dolls.
The sentimental value it represents to you will be much higher than the market value.
I am very sorry for the unfortunate news.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
Thank you. As I have no sentimental value to this doll can you still give me an estimated value? I intend to sell it.
As it is a replica doll the value will be below 100 US$. I would suggest Ebay.
Kind regards
Thank you very much. Have a wonderful day!
I hadn't noticed the marking under the ear before. Looks like it reads Stepnanie Lynn and either 183 or '83. I had to put some dark spices on the neck to get a better picture.
