This landscape has a feeling of arid desert perhaps New Mexico. The lower half contains a dinosaur eating shop next to sedan car with the doors open and two naked bodies lying outside on the ground. A unionist flag flies and behind it there is a Joshua ?tree with a tea party under its branches. Then There is an astronaut with a bubble coming from his helmet which says “ what the fuck is going on”. Finally there is a beach board sign saying “you are in another country“. The middleground has a Desert community.
I bought this work at our house contents option the family had returned from the United States and found that the contents of their home did not suit theIr new Irish home. The painting is on silent there is a label with 58 on it ,perhaps this indicates that such was in an exhibition at sometime.
