I attached an image of all I could see without disrupting it. It was working well. I heard it ticking but something was off. Being careful not to scratch or damage it i removed the backing while it lay face down. I could see 3 loose screws, just the heads of them. Upon putting the back back on it will not work. I regret even doing this. Will work again if I take it in to an antique watch repair professional. Was gifted by my grandfather who has since passed years ago. He was born in the early 1900s. It was either his or perhaps his father's who immigrated from Ukraine or Russia. All the number I sent on the attachment were from what I could see with my eyes and a magnifying glass. Would like to know as is value in Canadian Dollars as well as fully repaired and cleaned value? I will price out the servicing costs myself.
Very roughly double the size of two Canadian 2 dollar coins
