Mahoney, 78” wide, 70” high & 20” deep
From a friend
Dear Carole,
Thank you for your request. The apprised object is an armoire made in the first half of the 20th century. It is probably made out of mahogany and nut wood and has the measurements of 70 x 78 x 20 inches. The armoire is designed in a neo-baroque design. Especially the large-sized nut wood veneer is common in the 1930s. This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 600 to 1200 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
