Antique Unique Chinese cabinet, black, gilded with signs on the front doors and drawers, tall, solid wood, carved in the bottom of this cabinet. Three drawers on the bottom of this cabinet and two drawers inside of the middle of this cabinet. The back wall, square, can be removed for TV purpose or other purposes. The meaning of those signs in Chinese language probably is: "Don't push your luck" according to translation by Chinese speaking language person.
I bought from Home Improvement Restore Outlet.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a second half 20th century chinese cabinet, front doors decorated with a duilian:" 受思深处宜先退,得意濃時便好休" which can be translated to "think deeply about your decision" . The drawer´s underside is painted with varnish to make it look old, cabinet surface is patinated. Similar cabinets are offered and sold at auction. The estimate is based on auction results. "Asking prices" in the trade might be much higher and vary.
