made by Davis-Birely Table Co., Shelbyville, Indiana, circa 1900-1940
The square (rectangular?) top over a frame fitted with a single long drawer with desk interior and inkwell and two turned wooden pulls, on square legs joined by a shelf stretcher.

CONDITION: with some wear commensurate to age and use.
PROVENANCE: not original owner, acquired from someone who inherited it.
