Made in Burlington, VT? Was once a secretary's desk at the of the University of Vermont (UVM). universitas v montis - "University of the Green Mountains" See oval state government property sticker. Claw - Ball foot design Secretary Desk from the 17 to 18th century. Desk design is from of a Chippendale (circa 1700) or Queen Anne period. The glass dual door 3 shelf with locking key bookcase design is referred to as a Governor Winthrop Desk or Slant Front Desk. Original Brass metal hardware is all in tact. Dual glass door bookcase, which can be removed for a smaller desk version. Nothing broken or dented or chipped. Pull down desk writing/worktop has normal surface wear. See pic's, Everything works. No missing parts or hardware.
