Antique desk with hidden drawer and hidden brass button to open. Pull out velvet writing shelf. Needs some restoration with some of the laminate and slide cover hiding the brass button needs to be replaced with piece to match design.

An antique Victorian carved walnut writing desk
American or English, mid/late 19th Century
The rectangular molded edged top surmounted by a superstructure with gallery over two short drawers and a recessed area, the case fitted with short drawers, a velvet-lined tray, and a hidden drawer with brass push-button, all raised on bulbous ring-turned supports.
39 inches high, 36 12 inches wide, 25 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with some sun fading and minor losses to elements that need replacing.
