Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely vintage doll. The doll is a replica doll of antique dolls from the beginning of the 1900s. The signature on the doll is by the dollmaker. In the late 1980s and early 2000s it was very popular to make replica dolls both as a hobby but also to resell. These dolls are often very detailed and have many accessories and clothes made in the style of the early 1900s. Only a few of these dolls are valuable today and that is determined by the designer/dollmaker. However this is not the case with your doll.
Today these dolls rarely have value beyond their purchase price even when kept in excellent shape.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the replica doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
