Antique doll porcelain head with genuine gold painted charm on necklace and hair clips, wooden hand carved hands / lower arms and boots / lower leg. Body is stuffed cloth. Clothing is bloomer style under pants, slip, dress and apron. I inherited this doll in 1986. It was my grandmothers from her own childhood. She was born 1903
It was my grandmothers “childhood doll”. I do remember her having it on her bed during day. She was born in 1903 but I am unaware of origin of doll. My grandmother was born and grew up in Missouri. The doll has always had the same clothing on which my memory of doll goes back to earliest days being late 1970’s. I have kept this doll wrapped up in a box since I inherited it.
