Barrel says made in spain. Serial number matches on barrel, rear and front stock. This has several stamps of numbers and symbols but no brand name listed. It is similar to several Parkor Brothers shotguns I've seen but with notable differences so im not sure what brand it is or how old. Its in perfect functional order. Honestly i have used it to hunt deer since i was a teenager and still do. I would have dismissed it as probably not worth much other than a good hunting shotgun if i hadn't seen a vary similar gun on tv that was apparently worth quite a lot. That made me curious what it is.
45" tip to tip. Barrel tip to breach 27 7/8"
I inherited this from my grandfather when he died 20 years ago. He was a general contractor and was given this gun as payment for a remodel he did, that the home owner couldn't pay for. As far as my living family members know this was in Roanoke VA In the early 80s. He never told my grandmother what the gentlemans name was that gave it to him but he said it was a 100 year old hand made Spanish shot gun.
Dear Caleb,
Thank you for your help and patience.
The presented object appears to be an unidentified double barrel SxS 12 gauge shotgun which was made in the 20th century.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 250 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Gregory
Sorry it took me a while to add mor pictures. I was out of town. Hopefully those show the stamps you need more clearly. Im apperently bad at taking close ip pictures.
