An indonesian knife, most likely from eastern Sumatra. The pommel and ferrule made from silver (?), grip made from bone, blade incised with traces of ornaments, wooden scabbard held together with brass strips, dates most likely from the early 20th century. This is a well made knife of good proportions. Similar knifes have been offered and sold at auction in the recent past. The estimate is based on these auction results.
