This is a vintage, mid 20th century, Mid Century Modern style, blonde wood dining area sideboard with display cabinet and buffet server that was made in the 1960's by Kroehler Furniture (note not Koehlet). Technically, by definition in the U.S., an antique is any object 100 years old and older. This is considered still vintage. This has a sliding glass front 3 shelf display over two drawers, one being a flatware drawer over a two door cupboard. The matching piece is a buffet server with deep partitioned tray drawer. Peter E. Kroehler started buying furniture making companies in 1902 and re-named the company Kroehler by 1913 with his factory in Naperville, Illinois. The name is still used, though the true Koehler operations ended around 1981. The estimate is for the two pieces together and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
