An antique pine and iron wind-up spindle rocking cradle
American or English, late 19th/early 20th Century
The frame of spindle construction with tall crested headboard and shorter footboard and (later) chicken-wire base, raised on a frame with wind-up rocking mechanism.

CONDITION: Wear appears to be commensurate to age and use; wire base is a later replacement.
