This is a vintage 20th century black lacquered two-door cabinet from China that was made for export. The front decorative images were created using bone, inlaid mother of pearl and semi-precious hardstones. This was a popular decorator export furniture style and similar pieces were also produced in factories in Korea and Japan as well. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
