This mirrored vanity was mass-produced in the mid 20th century (probably in the 40s-50s); the number '1784' is not a date but most likely a pattern or model number. A lot of the companies making furniture at the time would put their label (or stamp or mark of some sort) on the pieces somewhere discrete (inside of a drawer, on the bottom, on the back) so IF you happen to see something, let me know in case it's relevant to the value.

unattributed maker, mid 20th Century (circa 1940s-1950s)
centering a long mirror with ogee shaped top (now lacking finials) and with adjustable 'wings', the case comprising two stacks of four long drawers, all raised on eight short bulbous legs with brass sabots (now lacking casters). The back stamped '1784'
