This rig was left in a home we purchased 16 years ago. The owners were moving back to Europe and forgot to take it, but had told us it was worth something.

Good afternoon, Andrew,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This does not look like a Native American rug from Arizona, which are mostly characterized by stylized geometric patters; rather, it has more the feel of a 20th Century rug made in Mexico or Latin America, with Aztec-like figures and colors. Probably made for the tourist market but the colors are strong and it seems to be in good condition. It would be appropriately catalogued as follows:
A Small Latin American Hand-woven Rug
20th Century, for the export market
Multicolored, centering a compass with mask center.
4 by 6 feet
$150-200*
