This is an 11x18ft ivory and pink rose medallion french style Aubusson rug. Hand knotted silk with as I understood it has a 200 kpsi. When compared to a wool this rug appears more lustrous and shows a slight sheen to it. It burned rather quickly and smelled of burning hair and held no flame when lighter was removed. The fringe nor edges show any stitching patterns to that as a machine.

It was left out from an estate sell where a man hired to move out remaining items somehow aquired it and quickly listed it online where I then found it.
