What does this mean?

This is a vintage later 20th century porcelain plate that was produced in Germany by Goebel for their Artis Orbis line. Depicted in color print on your plate is a reproduction of the 1881 painting entitled Deux Soeurs (Two Sisters) by the French Impressionist, Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841 -1919). The collector plate market is slumped and plates have not sold near their original retail cost when new. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
