Doll is composite (?) head and arms with fabric body and legs. Seems to have been a sound making doll. Markings show EI c HC Horsman.
This item was with other vintage toys that were found in my Grandparents attic.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Horsman composition material doll of the 1930s, marked E.L,H .CO. The doll must have been exposed to humidity and heat change over many years, which as a result made the material shrink and expand until it broke. A doll in very good conditon would sell for around 200 USD. The doll in your possession is a family heirloom but unfortunately has no market value due to the condition. The cloth torso and cryer might have a small value if used to repair another doll.
Thank you!!
