I know nothing about this rug. Just bought it from an estate sale

Hi Kerrie,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This rug looks Indian to me; unfortunately, the amount of wear and fading do diminish its value fairly significantly.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique Indian handwoven wool carpet
early 20th Century
Centering a rust ground with stylized floral motifs within a broad border. Presumably unsigned.
7 feet 6 inches by 9 feet 6 inches
CONDITION: Worn and faded with losses to selvedges. Value assumes no staining or odors, losses or repairs.
PROVENANCE: Acquired at an estate sale
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.

Good morning, Kerrie,
In an email to client service/support, you wrote:
"There is no fading or wear and tear on the rug. Wondering if that would change the value?"
It was my observation that - in the overall photo taken in the sun - there was some unevenness in color, which would suggest fading and wear. Can you please take a photo of this rug INSIDE so I can have a better look to see if what I saw in the sunlit photo is the same or different?
Thanks,
Delia
