My Brother John Beezley & his partner Jerome Byrne owned the painting. I contacted the Artist Fran Beallor online in 2013. She told me that the painting was one of two in the series. She told me that the painting "Nighthawk" was part of a series of two paintings. She sent me the magazine so I could see the other picture in the series. I think she said the painting was called "Sleepyhead". It was her boyfriend sleeping in the bed in the picture. She also told me that the two paintings summed up the size of their 2 room apartment in New York.

Works by this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market. There are some not sold artworks mentioned on the invaluable page but without any estimate.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 600 to 1.200 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

I am also wondering if you didn't finish a sentence...it states "This artwork was made by the artist Fran Beallor in the year" and that is all. Kind of confusing to me. Please let me know.
