I know nothing about this lamp. It has been around my family as long as I can remember and I am 68 years old. The base appears to be cast metal and the cord looks to have been replaced as some time. I have included a picture of the stamp on the bottom. Thanks.

Romanian metal-smith Joseph B. Hirsch founded the New York Art Bronze Works, D.A.V NY ART in Manhattan circa 1907 importing gilt bronze and bronze art by artists and sculptors of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
This has the triangle surrounding DAV RT NY early period mark, but it's likely from the 1950s, or so, as nearly all of them are. Lamps by DAV RT typically sell between $100-150 in online auctions.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

made in New York City, mid 20th Century
Of circular section and baluster form, surmounted by a flaring faceted oatmeal-colored fabric shade, the body of the lamp with tall neck, globular body and tall cast-modeled foot, electrified
20 inches overall height
