This small desk has three doors that slide left or right and a top portion that opens up. The dimensions are 26"W x 22"D x 32"H. The desk was probably refinished and possibly originally had a leather top in lieu of the wood insert. It is in good condition. One drawer pull is missing.
My mother bought this for my room when I was a child (65+ years ago). I believe she refinished it and that my father, who was a carpenter, replaced the original leather top. I was told it was a map desk from a Mississippi steamboat.
