He’s a Carrera marble cherub on a mismatched marble pedestal. He is made in the style of a renaissance cherub in the putto of Raphael’s “The Sistine Madonna,” though likely created much more recently, ~1920’s, according to the members of the r/Antiques. The current owner (74F) said that her mother brought it over with her from Europe when she emigrated to the US when she was ~20, which means this little fellow would have been barely cooled from the hot chisel, as it were. I haven’t been able to find a discernible signature yet but I also haven’t moved him much considering the weight and damage to his one wing. Aside from the unfortunate wing damage, he’s in excellent condition.
