Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a MIng style Chinese vase. It is qīng-huā; (lit. 'blue flowers/patterns'). The blue designs are done in underglaze technique, which creates a more dreamy effect. The flower painting on the base is unusual.
The characters on the base read: Da Ming Jiajing Nian Zhi, ‘Made in the Great Ming dynasty during the reign of the Jiajing Emperor’ (1522-1566). Seals are often apocryphal, applied in reverence to former reigns rather than records of when they were made.
